Faith

Belief has power, it can be made manifest in the world. This is the core principal of faith in Anchorum.

The gods who created Anchorum are often called the Holy Triumvirate, they are:
Reiner, known as she who birthed the world in chaos.
Eland, known as they who saved the world through progress.
Barzok, known as he who connected the world by structure.

Each was once a mortal being who ascended to godhood through incredible feats of will, power and intellect. Their existence is proven through the clerical power afforded those who worship them and storied by legend and miracles.

In the millennia since the Holy Triumvirate last walked the world, lesser gods have also achieved deification and these too have proven divine by working great miracles. These lesser gods are known as Angels.
